Father Steve to leave St James
This article and those that follow are intended to keep the congregation in touch with events and progress in finding a successor to Father Steve Hendry who leaves St James in mid January 2012
In the 10.30 service on November 27 Father Steve announced that he would be leaving St James on the 14th January 2012 and had been appointed Pastor at the Epiphany Church in Woodstock.
Until such time as a permanent successor is appointed an Interim Priest will support St James. The Wardens advised on Sunday 4th December that it could be 6 - 12 months before a permananet successor is appointed. The recruitment and selection process has yet to start but the Wardens confirmed that they would maintain constant communication with the congregation on developments.
