The Ladies’ Group gives all women, young and old alike, the opportunity to gather together to help the parish where needed. Our most visible duty is to cater to receptions for special events, banquets and funerals. We also have an active prayer chain. We embark in one major event each year - the Nearly New Sale which takes place in February. This event not only raises funds for the church, but is a vital outreach project for the community.

 

We meet regularly to discuss any events or outings that are being planned. Please watch for dates and times in the weekly bulletins and weekly announcements during services.

 

In the past we have had many inspirational and informative speakers come and speak at the church. Fashion shows, bus trips, workshops and a retreat are all events we help organize and enjoy.

 

Twice a year we gather with the ladies from the community churches to celebrate the Ingathering of the Least Coin, and for the World Day of Prayer Service.

 

We encourage you to bring your thoughts and ideas to our next meeting as we are always trying to meet the needs of all the women in the church.  We are always looking for help with prep, baking and serving at receptions, as well as more members to be added to the prayer chain.
